Wind Tunnel

Our Wind Tunnel allows the students to conduct experiments to measure lift and drag on sample models and also our Smoke Visualisation setup allows the students to visualise the flow over the models. It is designed to allow the students to learn about the fundamentals of aerodynamics on aerostructures.

Astrophotography and Telemetry Lab

Our Astrophotography Lab consists of a Newtonian High Resolution Telescope equipped with High Magnification as well as a Planetary Camera to take high resolution pictures and a Lab to analyze the pictures and other astrometric data for analysis. Our department does frequent astronomy sessions at night where the students are invited to explore the cosmos along with our solar system and to explore and expand their knowledge.
